Instructions for Coloring Pages. To accompany the downloadable Gingerbread House Activity Guide (above):
Types of Houses Coloring Page (Younger Children)– Say “Houses come in all shapes and sizes and ‘home’ means different things to different people. As you color this page, can you name all of these houses? Tell me what home means to you.” Write down the words and phrases that they share. (geared for younger children who can’t write well yet)
Home coloring sheet (Older Children) – Say “Draw your ideas and write descriptive words that represent “home” to you.  What makes home a good & safe place to be?” (geared for older children who can write well and draw their ideas)
