Sue earned her B.S in International Business from Montclair State University in Montclair, New Jersey. Her executive experience in the nonprofit sector includes nearly a decade as president of the board of directors of the Christian C. Sanderson Museum in Chadds Ford. During her 15-year career at DePuy Synthes Companies of Johnson & Johnson, a Fortune 100 company, Sue held a variety of roles, including leading project teams involved in the design, marketing, and manufacturing of orthopedic medical devices. Sue is also an Elder and Clerk of Session at Unionville Presbyterian Church.
Rosa has worked at La Communidad Hispana, Rockford Center and Alliance for Better Housing. She has a Masters of Social Work and a Masters of Law and Social Policy from Bryn Mawr College-Graduate School of Social Work & Social Research and a Bachelors of Social Work/Spanish from Immaculata University. Rosa has been an active volunteer in several non-profits in Kennett Square.

Wes Bowers, President, Resource Center Committee Member
– Retired in 2014 years ago after a 43-year career as an electrical engineer working for Exelon Corporation. Work included design of control systems, support of plant operations, plant licensing, quality assurance, and cyber security. Held leadership roles in writing standards for the electrical portion of the nuclear power industry; these standards have been incorporated into regulations in the U.S. and other countries.
– Served on various church committees, school board member, girl scout leader, and president of a non-profit day-care center.

J.M. has worked at the Herr Foods family business for more than 45 years and now serves as Executive Chairman. He has most recently served on the boards of Clemens Family Corporation, Global Aid Network, Young Life of Southern Chester County and the National Federation of Independent Business. J.M. and his wife Lois have been married for 36 years and have four children and 5 grandchildren. In addition to traveling and spending time with his family, J.M. enjoys reading, golf and horseback riding.

Phil Duncan, Congregational Relations Committee Chair
Professor Emeritus of Psychology, West Chester University, specializing in the analysis of behavior with particular interests in the development of feedback and incentive systems as part of effective workplace configuration, and the design of effective learning environments for persons with autism and other serious behavior challenges.
Co-founder and former Executive Director of the Southeastern Pennsylvania Autism Resource Center (SPARC), a clinic offering comprehensive services to persons with autism and/or other serious behavioral challenges. Mr. Duncan is an active member of St. Philips Lutheran Church in Wilmington, DE. He sings with the Brandywine Valley Chorale, and, fueled by his passion for nature, volunteers at Mt. Cuba Center, a botanical garden located in Hockessin, DE.
Karen Eichman, Esq. owns Eichman Law PLLC, located in West Grove, PA. Prior to establishing her law practice in 2012, Ms. Eichman served as the business manager for Kaolin Mushroom Farms. She is an active member of numerous associations including the local bar associations, American Mushroom Institute, Pennsylvania Farm Bureau, Rotary Club of Kennett Square and the Southern Chester County Chamber of Commerce. Eichman received numerous accolades ranging from “Volunteer of the Year 2012” (Southern Chester County Chamber of Commerce) to “Top Lawyers” in Labor Law, Main Line Today Magazine 2014 and 2015.

Married to Danelle Houghton with two teenage children who attend Avongrove School District. Tom is a former State Representative and London Grove Township Supervisor. He and Danelle also fostered children with Chester County Youth Services for seven years from 2001-2008. Tom was also a board member of the Jennersville YMCA and is still a long-time member. Tom has also been an active coach of youth baseball and basketball for many years here in the Avongrove area. Tom practices law (Tom Houghton Law) and has an office in Kennett Square, PA.

Annalie has served as the Pastor and Head of Staff of Unionville Presbyterian Church since September 2012. She holds a Master of Divinity from Palmer Theological Seminary and a Master of Business Administration from the Pennsylvania State University. She is a charter member of the FPSCC Board, President-Elect of the Rotary Club of Kennett Square, and Co-Convener of the Religious Council of Greater West Chester. She also serves as the Chaplain for Southern Chester County Police Departments.

Carol Lowe, Marketing/PR Committee Member
Carol Lowe is a licensed Social Worker with over 25 years experience leading, managing and supervising professional staff in social services. Ms. Lowe currently serves as executive director for New Life Youth and Family Services, a community-based program in West Chester, PA. Her vast and versatile experience in the non-profit sector includes program planning, crisis and case management, as well as volunteer management. She earned a Master of Science degree in Social Work from the University of Southern Mississippi. Carol and her husband Carl, are long-time residents of Kennett Square. They raised two children here, Chelsea (KHS Class of 2009) and Carl Jr. (KHS Class of 2013). She was on the Demons Light Committee that was responsible for lighting Kennett High School’s stadium and continues to volunteer at the high school as well as St. Patrick’s Church.
Dr. Burton Rothenberger retired from Sunoco, Inc. in 1999 after 32 years in various technical positions. He served as Technical Manager of Sunoco’s Marcus Hook, PA, and Toledo, OH, refineries and as Director of Research & Development. Dr. Rothenberger is an advocate for affordable housing and has had a long association with Habitat for Humanity. Currently serving on the Boards of Family Service of Chester County and Volunteer Chester County and as a Serving Elder at Westminster Presbyterian Church. Prior Board service includes Habitat for Humanity of Chester County, Chester County Community Foundation, Chester County 2020, and the Red Clay Valley Association. He is a regular volunteer at Chester County Habitat’s Restore in New Garden. An avid gardener and promoter of the use of native plants, Rothenberger volunteers at the Brandywine River Museum and Winterthur as a gardener. He earned a BS in chemical engineering at Lehigh University, a MS in chemical engineering at Carnegie Institute of Technology, and a MA and PhD in chemical engineering at Princeton University.

Kimberly has served the non-profit world exclusively for the past six years in a number of different capacities including: public relations outreach for the Phoenixville Police Athletic League (PAL), communications chair for the Lighthouse Youth Center’s capital campaign, co-chair for The Tatnall School annual fundraiser, and White Clay Soccer Club’s fundraising committee. She currently serves on the board of the Oxford Area Foundation and the Oxford Area Senior Center where her duties range from philanthropy, strategic planning, developing and maintaining collaborative relationships with other key nonprofits, to creating and launching new programs for senior citizens. She enjoys volunteering at the Lighthouse Youth Center, Dagsboro Boys & Girls Club, and Family Promise of Southern Chester County. Additionally, Kim has 11 years experience working as a public relations professional both in the Corporate and Agency worlds.
